Greek Orthodox Wedding Crowns (Stefana), Tri-Component Twisted Silver

In the Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony, the stefana hold profound meaning. Joined by a ribbon, they form a visible sign of the sacred bond blessed upon the bride and groom. The circular crowns symbolise the honour and glory bestowed by God as the couple enters their new life together. During the Crowning, the priest exchanges the stefana three times above their heads, invoking unity, spiritual protection, and the shared responsibility with which they will guide their home.

Once the ceremony concludes, the crowns are reverently removed, marking the beginning of the couple’s journey as husband and wife.
